Last updated: May 2026  ·  Governing law: England and Wales

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of base, an AI-powered operating system for founders provided by [COMPANY NAME] Ltd ("base", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number [COMPANY NUMBER], whose registered office is at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

base is a software platform that enables users to connect third-party tools and execute operational commands via a natural language interface ("the Service"). The Service currently operates via hellobase.com and the application hosted at base-founder-os.lovable.app.

base acts as an orchestration layer between you and your connected third-party tools. We do not provide the underlying services (CRM, finance, contracts, etc.) ourselves. Those are provided by the relevant third-party platforms you choose to connect.

2. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information when registering
  • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at [CONTACT EMAIL]

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

3.1 Plans

The Service is available on a subscription basis. Current plans are Starter (£29/month), Builder (£79/month), and Scale (£199/month). A founding rate of £39/month is available to the first 50 subscribers and is locked in for the duration of their subscription.

3.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

3.3 Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial on all plans. No credit card is required to start a trial. If you add a payment method and do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be charged the applicable monthly fee.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.

3.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change by email. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. Founding rate subscribers are exempt from any price increases for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:
