Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how you can request a refund for your purchase of base (“the Service”) provided by Base (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all subscription plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase or renewal date.

This applies to monthly subscriptions. After the 30-day period has elapsed, refunds are not available for partial months or unused time.

2. How to Request a Refund

Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all our orders. To request a refund:

  1. Visit paddle.net and log in with the email address you used to subscribe
  2. Locate your base subscription order
  3. Follow the refund request process within your Paddle account

Alternatively, you can email us at hello@withbase.ai and we will forward your request to Paddle on your behalf.

3. Cancellation and Access

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via Paddle. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period
  • You will continue to have full access to the Service until the end of your current paid period
  • No partial refunds are given for the remainder of the current billing period after cancellation

4. Exceptions

Refunds are only available within the 30-day money-back guarantee window. We do not offer refunds:

  • For requests made more than 30 days after the relevant purchase or renewal date
  • For partial months after a cancellation
  • If your account has been terminated for violation of our Terms of Service

5. Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments, billing, and refunds, and handles returns.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your payment method and bank.
