What 'vibe scaling' actually means
Vibe coding gave everyone a product. Vibe scaling is the part that turns a product into a company.
Vibe coding is settled now. You describe what you want, the software gets built, and the gap between an idea and a working product is a weekend. That was the hard part for thirty years and it stopped being hard in about eighteen months.
Vibe scaling is what comes next, and nobody has named it properly yet.
The definition
Vibe scaling is running the commercial side of a company the same way you built the product. You describe what needs to happen, and it happens, across the tools that hold your business.
Not workflows you configure. Not dashboards you check. You say "send the contract", "invoice them", "who has gone quiet this month", and the work gets done in the systems where it lives.
Why it follows vibe coding necessarily
The bottleneck moved. When building took six months, the company admin around it was noise, you had plenty of time to set up a CRM while engineering ran. Now building takes a weekend and the admin takes four months, so the admin is the entire critical path.
Founders who shipped in days are spending their next quarter choosing invoicing software. That is the bottleneck now, and it is a stupid one.
What it requires
Two things. Context, meaning one memory of the business that spans every tool, so a command can be understood without you explaining who the client is. And execution, meaning it does the thing rather than telling you how to do the thing.
Chatbots have the first without the second. Automation platforms have the second without the first. Vibe scaling needs both.
The point
You did not learn to code to ship your product. You should not have to learn operations to run your company.
That is what Base is.

The command bar might get you a product in record time, but it doesn't tell you what to do on Monday. Or the Monday after that.
You can vibe code. You can't vibe scale. Here's why.
The layer that made vibe coding possible doesn't exist for operations yet. Here's why that gap matters and what would actually close it.
